You could probably have an entire blog about just Libby Montana and it’s asbestos problems. Wr. Grace is charged with purposely hiding what it knew about the exposure it caused the residents of Libby. A mine was operated in the area for decades. It wasn’t until 1999 that a series of news articles shed light on the huge number of asbestos cancers in the town that the EPA stepped in and started working on the problem.
